Dr. A.F.M. Mafizul Islam

Professor Islam is a renowned social scientist. He possesses an impressive academic, teaching and research background. He did his PhD in Economics, and he completed several Project Management and Development Management courses at the George Mason University (USA), George Washington University (USA), and World Bank Institute in USA. He obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Training Management from the Slough College of Higher Education (now Thames Valley University, UK).
Dr. Islam served as a Professor at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka for a long time. He also spent time in the UK and taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at various Institutes of Higher Education (IHEs). He has more than 50 (fifty) research works and publications. With various international assignments Dr. Islam worked for UNDP, ILO, USAID, USIS, ADB, World Bank, CIDA, SIDA, IFAD, GIZ, EU, DFID, and JICA, and he worked in 12 different countries as an international expert.
